Traditional thin pure gold earrings are worn by the Fulani women of West Africa, For export, they make these in thin brass with a layer of gold. I have double-plated this pair in 24K gold and changed the traditional big ear loop to a contemporary hook. Tiny gold domes cover thin plating areas. 3” total length. 24K vermeil hooks.
